Purpose
This training document outlines the procedures for standard residential cleaning by room. The procedures are designed to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in various rooms while ensuring an effective cleaning process.
Description of Work
These procedures apply to all standard residential cleaning tasks performed by the cleaning staff. It covers procedures for bathrooms, bedrooms, hallways, stairs, living rooms, entryways, dining rooms, offices, laundry rooms, and kitchens. We clean these areas in the order that are listed.
Responsibilities
- Cleaning Staff: Responsible for executing the cleaning tasks as outlined in this document.
- At the Start of Each Day: Make sure that you have clean sets of rags for each home, clean mop heads, dusting pads and that the vacuum does not have lint or hair wrapped around the brushes along with a new vacuum bag.
- At the End of Each Day: Using the equipment and supply list, make sure to check that you have all of your equipment and supplies ready for the next day.
- Supervisors: Responsible for ensuring that cleaning staff follow the procedure and for providing necessary training.
Reporting Issues
- Broken Items: If you notice any items, decorations, appliances or anything else that is broken or if you accidentally break anything you will need to stop, take a photo and report it to the Sunshine Cleaning supervisors by sending a message through WhatsApp and include what happened and any photos you take.
- Lock Outs: Normally the clients are home or an access code to their door or garage is provided in the Jobber notes for the cleaning visit.
